At Birmingham Airport, we remain committed to reducing our impact on the environment and being a responsible neighbour to our local communities. However, as one of the region’s largest employers with over 8,000 people directly employed on-site by over 150 companies, we recognise that we can not fully achieve this alone.
In line with our renewed strategic focus to reduce our Scope 3 emissions and foster a wider culture of sustainability at Birmingham Airport, the BHX Partner Sustainability Pledge was launched in 2025. The initiative aims to drive collective improvements in sustainability performance across the airport to achieve common goals and promote collaboration on all matters sustainability.
With specific commitments structured across an ESG framework, the pledge helps to ensure partners operating on the airport site are aligned with Birmingham Airport’s organisational sustainability vision.
